AETALIA, from the atelier of Sant’Ilario to the fashion shows of Geneva

The grand debut of a new brand proudly made in Elba

"Great ideas that are born in small places, a passion born partly by chance and partly out of love, a tradition – that of leather processing – that has its roots in typical Tuscan craftsmanship, but also in the memories that are lost among the haute couture dresses of the paternal grandmother's tailoring.

These are the ingredients of AETALIA, a new brand proudly made in Elba, which from a small atelier in the rural village of Sant’Ilario has landed on the luxury catwalks of Geneva, thanks to the expert hands and creativity of Federica Berselli, an entrepreneur and designer of Milanese origins, but now an Elban by adoption.

The newborn Elban brand – also supported by Natalia Dodi Migliorini of “Green Pebbles”, already a friend of Elba from “Mediterranean Fashion Dreams” show in 2013 in Marina di Campo – debuted with great success in the three-day Swiss event “Italian Creativity on the Runway”, alongside other luxury brands, in the splendid setting of the Demeritte’s Art Gallery.

A project, that of AETALIA, which – with its bags and accessories entirely sewn and made by hand – has the ambitious goal of bringing Elba, and its name, around the world
